High speed oriented (Rectified) Rotary / Liner Two Colour Capsule
Printing Machine is a new product from the makers of Scorpio
machines.
WORKING :
The capsules are loaded in the capsule hopper. The upper drum
having set no. of cavities (as per the size of the capsule) collects
the capsules from the capsule hopper by negative pressure. While the
drum rotates, the capsules are rectified by a simple mechanism.
Thereby the cap and body are positioned in the same direction, i.e.
the body on left side and the cap on right side. Both the moving
drums are connected to the Air Pressure & Vacuum line.
The rectified capsules are transferred on to the moving conveyor for
printing through the bottom drum.
Two Gravure rollers one to print on the body and another to print
on the cap (for two colour) are fitted above the conveyor one after
another in the same direction. The Gravure Rollers (engraved with
the matter to be printed) take the edible ink from the ink reservoir
transfer the matter on to the offset roll, which print on the
capsule.
